Butler Caps His College Career During
UNLV’s Regular Season Finale at San Diego State University |

LOS ANGELES (Dec. 17, 2004) – UNLV Senior Outside Linebacker, Reggie Butler finished the 2004 regular football season with 29 solo tackles and 32 assists for a total 61 tackles. The Rebel linebacker racked up 11 tackles when UNLV hosted New Mexico for homecoming on October 16. That feat was immediately followed with 6 tackles in each of the two subsequent games, at Utah and against Wyoming. Consistently ranked as one of the UNLV Rebel’s top defensive players, Reggie Butler played his final regular season college football game on Saturday November 20. UNLV’s #32 returned to his birthplace and was greeted by his own personal cheering squad. A huge crowd of resident family, friends, and well-wishers brought huge signs and provided extremely audible vocal support during his performance against the Aztecs on a very rainy Saturday evening at Quaalcomm Stadium.
